This comprehensive guide covers everything from unboxing to advanced features, ensuring you'll be ready to make the most of your Tagigo as soon as it arrives.
What's in the Box
Your Tagigo package will include:

If you purchased the 4-pack, you'll receive one Tagigo in each color: Black, White, Pink, and Blue. All trackers in your package will have the same network compatibility (either Google's Find Hub or dual-network).
Before You Begin: Prepare Your Smartphone
To ensure a smooth setup process, you'll want to prepare your smartphone before your Tagigo arrives:
For Android Users (Google's Find Hub Network):
- Ensure your Android device is running the latest operating system
- Download the Google Find Hub app from the Google Play Store
- Sign in with your Google account
- Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are enabled
- Grant the necessary permissions to the Find Hub app
For iPhone Users (with dual-network Tagigo):
- Ensure your iPhone is running the latest iOS
- The Find My app comes pre-installed on iOS devices
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are enabled
- Ensure Find My is enabled in your settings
Setup Process (Coming Soon)
When your Tagigo arrives, you'll follow these general steps to set it up (detailed instructions will be included with your device):
For Android Users:
- Place your finder near your Android device (Make sure your Android device is awake and unlocked) and press the button once to activate it. If activation is successful, you will hear a beep.
- Wait for a half-screen notification to appear, then follow the on-screen instructions on your Android device to add the Finder to Google's Find Hub network.
For iPhone Users:
- Place your finder next to your iOS device and press the button once to activate it. If activation is successful, you will hear a beep.
- Open the Find My app on your iOS device, tap the Items tab, then tap "Add Item" or "+", and select "Add Other Item" or "Other Supported Item".
- Once the Find My app detects your finder, follow the on-screen instructions to add it to the Apple Find My network.
Battery Life Expectations
Your Tagigo comes with a non-rechargeable battery designed for long-term use:
- Android users (Google's Find Hub): Up to 2 years of battery life
- iPhone users (Apple Find My network): Up to 1.5 years of battery life
Battery life can vary based on usage patterns, environmental conditions, and how often the sound alert feature is activated. The relevant tracking app will notify you when battery levels are getting low.
Best Practices for Use
To get the most out of your Tagigo:
- Use the keyring attachment or other secure method to firmly attach your Tagigo to items
- Give each Tagigo a descriptive name in your tracking app (e.g., "Work Keys" rather than just "Keys")
- Check the Tagigo's connection periodically in the app to ensure it's working properly
- If tracking valuable items, consider keeping the Tagigo hidden from plain view
Privacy and Security
Tagigo is designed with your privacy in mind:
- Location data is encrypted end-to-end
- Anti-stalking measures prevent misuse of trackers
- Only you can see the location of your Tagigo in your tracking app
- Regularly-changing Bluetooth identifiers prevent long-term tracking by third parties
- Sound alerts will activate if an unknown Tagigo is traveling with someone for an extended period
We're excited for you to experience Tagigo when it ships on May 30, 2025. This guide will be updated with more detailed information as we approach the launch date. In the meantime, if you have any questions about your pre-order, please contact our customer support team.
